Removing and installing hydromodulator systems ABS / ASC + T / DSC BMW 7 E38
1. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Pump the brake fluid from the reservoir GTZ.
hydromodulator ABS
Brake tube and bolt hydromodulator ABS

V (front wheel) – by a two-sheet GTZ circuit V to hydromodulator circuit V (drive circuit brake mechanisms of forward wheels)
H (rear wheel) – by a two-sheet GTZ circuit H to hydromodulator circuit H (drive circuit brake mechanisms of back wheels)
VR (right front wheel) – by VR to VR hydromodulator brake mechanism
VL (front left wheel) – by hydromodulator VL to brake mechanism VL
HR (right rear wheel) – hydromodulator from HR to the brake mechanism of HR
HL (left rear wheel) – by hydromodulator HL to the brake mechanism HL
HA (rear axle) – hydromodulator from the HA to the brake mechanism of back wheels
1 – Membrane damper exhaust channel
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the central connector (1), give a nut (2) and disconnect a cable of weight.

Warning: Do not allow brake fluid connectors
wiring.
2. Disconnect the brake tube, remove the bolt and remove hydromodulator. If necessary, mark the tube, so as not to confuse them when installing.
3. Install in the reverse order. Finally, bleed the brake system.

Hydromodulator ABS / ASC + T, DSC3 (from 09.1998 of release)
Brake tubes and connectors hydromodulator ABS / ASC + T, DSC3

V (front wheel) – by a two-sheet GTZ circuit V to hydromodulator circuit V (drive circuit brake mechanisms of forward wheels)
H (rear wheel) – by a two-sheet GTZ circuit H to hydromodulator circuit H (drive circuit brake mechanisms of back wheels)
VR (right front wheel) – by VR to VR hydromodulator brake mechanism
VL (front left wheel) – by hydromodulator VL to brake mechanism VL
HR (right rear wheel) – hydromodulator from HR to the brake mechanism of HR
HL (left rear wheel) – by hydromodulator HL to the brake mechanism HL
HA (rear axle) – hydromodulator from the HA to the brake mechanism of back wheels
1 – Membrane damper exhaust channel
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unlock the lock connector (1) in direction (2) and disconnect the connector, by pulling it in the direction (3) vertically. Disconnect the brake pipe, if necessary, pre-marking them so as not to confuse the installation.
2. On models with DSC Unlock and disconnect the connector (4) from the pressure sensor
3. Remove the bolt (5) and remove hydromodulator, preventing deformation and bend brake pipes.
4. Install in the reverse order. Finally, bleed the brake system.

H (rear wheel) – by a two-sheet GTZ circuit H to hydromodulator circuit H (drive circuit brake mechanisms of back wheels)
VR (right front wheel) – by VR to VR hydromodulator brake mechanism
VL (front left wheel) – by hydromodulator VL to brake mechanism VL
HR (right rear wheel) – hydromodulator from HR to the brake mechanism of HR
HL (left rear wheel) – by hydromodulator HL to the brake mechanism HL
HA (rear axle) – hydromodulator from the HA to the brake mechanism of back wheels

2. Disconnect the brake pipe, unscrew the bolt (see. Illustration of a brake tube and bolt hydromodulator ABS) and remove hydromodulator. If necessary, mark the tube, so as not to confuse them when installing.
3. Disconnect the brake pipe, unscrew the bolt (see. Illustration of a brake tube and bolt hydromodulator ABS) and remove hydromodulator. If necessary, mark the tube, so as not to confuse them when installing.
